I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the Principal at Coudersport Area Jr./Sr. High School. My name is Steve Mongillo and I am very excited to be working in a school that promotes academic and personal achievement.

It is my goal to continue the well established traditions of Coudersport Jr./ Sr. High School and build upon the success that this community and school district has worked so hard to attain. I believe that it is my responsibility to facilitate growth and achievement amongst our students that will hopefully promote continued success in the future endeavors of all of our students.

I truly understand that this undertaking cannot be accomplished without the support of our student’s parents and community members. I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that I will be posting meeting dates and times where you will be invited to attend a “Principal’s Open House” where you will be informed of school activities, state assessment schedules and to discuss the direction of our school.

It is my intention to utilize the strength of our student body, faculty members and you, the members of our community to prepare our students to not only be competitive in today’s world, but to thrive and lead the way for future generations. I look forward to the challenges that lay ahead, and the support of a community that promotes education and achievement.

If you should have any questions or comments regarding the District’s website, please feel free to send me an e-mail at
